Since taking over in November 2025, they’ve brought with them a genuine passion for people. Whether it’s spending quality time with their whānau (especially their 5 grandchildren!), supporting local events, or running their other business, Carpet King — family and community are at the heart of everything they do.

We’d also like to give a huge shoutout to the previous owner, Willy Benson, a true local legend and close friends. They’ve made the transition incredibly smooth and simple, and are still around to lend a hand and support us from time to time. We’re so grateful to be continuing what they’ve built 🙌
Our History
We’re two Olympians – and we’ve put our heads together to come up with a better way to manage waste. Aware of how impractical and unwieldy regular large metal skips can be, we created a mobile skip hire that:
